How would my Affinity benefit by promoting an Alumni tour to an international country?
Many Travel Directors have found that offering international travel is another great way to bring their families and friends together under the umbrella of Alumni activities. Members enjoy traveling with other guests who share similar interests.

Is there a fundraising component?
Yes, each members tour includes a minimum of $200 per traveler to be donated to the school. Needs of fundraising vary greatly from group to group. We offer flexible end-user pricing to meet the needs of your program. Please talk to your Discoveries representative about tailoring the fundraising component to meet your needs.

Can I travel with my group?
Yes, there are complimentary tours awarded based on your production. If you cannot take the tour, you can designate it for anyone of your choice, or the trip can be turned into even more fundraising.

How would I promote the tour?
Most announce the tour in their newsletter, post it on their website and have brochures available to members. We are a leader in travel marketing with our "Travel Marketing Made Easy program" which takes the work off your desk and ensures a successful promotion. We will assist with web ready graphics and a custom brochure for the University.

What are the best times to travel?
We plan our tours around "non peak" travel season. This varies by destination. We can obtain the best rates for members during these seasons.

What is the your Commitment?
There is no financial commitment. You agree to promote the tour through the website, newsletters, and personal contact. Reservations are recieved by you and forwarded to our office. We take it from there!

Can you tell me more about the tour experience?
All tours include airfare, excellent hotels, motorcoach transportation, sightseeing and a Discovery Program Guide to facilitate the experience.
